Leaving the outdoor environment in a better condition than we found it is what we always strive for. We look for products that are reusable and that replace single-use, disposable or short-term options. We also aim to identify products that ensure a minimal impact when venturing out into the wilderness. Realistically compostable items score points too - take them home to compost.
Lisa is a bit of a greeny-beany. She separates her trash, uses fabric shopping bags and mesh bags for fresh produce, she composts kitchen cuttings & peelings in her YOLO Compost Tumbler, picks up litter daily on trails, takes her own containers to get take-out food, stuffs packaging into ecobricks, has banished clingwrap from her home, uses a reusable waterbottle and strives to continue to do better by limiting single-use products and seeking out long-lasting, reusable products.
